Bicycle Safety

Welcome to spring! It is hard to believe how fast time flies. April is here already! Now that the weather is getting nicer, you and your children will probably be doing more outdoors, including getting out that old bicycle. We would like to give you some reminders to help keep you safe!

Always remember to have your child wear a helmet. That is the single most important thing you can do to keep your child safe while bike riding. Also look out for potholes, cracks, rocks or any other object that could cause loss of control. It is always a good idea to check the brakes and make sure the tires are properly inflated before riding, especially if the bike has not been used in a while. And remember to ride in a straight line behind each other and go with the flow of traffic. Have a safe and wonderful spring!!
